I wasn't really expecting this much because there were such good entries and everyone really worked hard for this. So proud of our team for winning most of the awards! This day is just so wonderful! All our sacrifices paid off! I'm really thankful for all the love and support we got from the day we started filming and to the last day of post-production. Thank you lord! I'm still waiting for it to sink in, really.I really grateful to belong in such a talented group of people. 

To my mentors, thank you for guiding us all through out this production. We owe it all to you! To my family, thank you for giving us financial support, this production won't be possible without you! To my friends, thank you for being there supporting our film. To our production house - Bigtop Productions, thank you for helping us out even if its last minute's notice!

Before and after 09/07/2012

SHOOTING DAY 2: This was probably one of the longest days ever! We met up at our location at around 5:30 am and started filming at around 6:30.

The moment when Leea, my director yelled "THAT'S A WRAP", something inside me began to flutter and I could feel my legs giving up but instead I decided to start jumping for joy with the whole production team for finishing the whole thing!

Despite the fact that it rained a little on our set, the sun was very cooperative that day and we survived filming the remaining 2 acts. Kudos to the team for enduring the heat of the sun, our tanned faces and body are the living proof that we worked hard for this. 

I'm really thankful for the all the help that we got in our 2 day shoot, you guys know who you are. I really appreciate the time and effort you exerted for us! Also, to the production house that helped us out, I really want to give a shout out but I can't mention much this time. Specially to that person who taught me a lot from handling a camera, to words of encouragement (and flattery) when I'm almost giving up because being a DOP (Director of Photography) was a lot harder than I thought. Regardless of the fact that you look so damn good and damn talented too, it was hard to keep myself together but I think I handled everything professionally. Being a DOP was the best part of this production because I got to work CLOSELY with .... haha. Literally closely. (I could picture Dabor gritting her teeth kasi sobrang kinikilig at ingit! I'm such a bully haha) 

I learned and accomplished a lot in such a short time. I almost got hit by a car, got stung by a bee and nearly rolled downhill BUT it was all worth it. 

Really ecstatic that we're done shooting but a part of me wishes to have this production extended because everyone instantly clicked and had fun in our set. I'M REALLY PROUD OF OUR PRODUCTION TEAM! 

You know you're truly happy when you go to bed smiling and wake up still smiling even though every bit of your muscles are screaming. Blood, sweat and tears, nakakapagod.

Its one of those "When-I-see-people-I-wanna-shout-and-punch-them-in-the-face season" as my friend called it.

Yes. I think her mood swings are fucking contagious. She's been having them for days now because her period is bound to come SOON. But thing is, I just had mine and it was over a few days ago.

The Fall

SUMMER 2012

Hindi dahil nilagyan mo ng watermark ang picture at inedit at nilagyan ng filter pag katapos matatawag na itong photography.

Dahil sa nauso ang instagram ang dami ng nag fe-feeling photographer kahit napaka walang kwenta ng subject. I mean, it's nice to see people taking interest in photography but thanks to these 'events' I feel like photography became mainstream.

That heavy feeling in your chest you just want to breakdown and cry and yet you are unsure why.

I've been feeling a little down lately due to some matters that would take forever to explain. I just really hate it when plans don't go accordingly on how you pictured it..

Still waiting for something awesome to happen.

CAMWHORING.... nah, it's more than just a picture and a red beanie.

I want to go to Marinduque already

-but I can't, as of the moment.

I just hate that my schedule has a lot of tiny gaps in it that I couldn't afford to be far away from Manila. I guess my only option is to wait until I finished my enrollment for OJT *fingers-crossed* and then I can get the hell out of this place - not that I hate it here anything. It's just I want a laid back environment for a while because I've had  the most stressful semester of my student life. I just want to rest, that's all. 

The fact that Marinduque is very far away from Manila is perfect for relaxing and just forgetting the stressful life here in the city. Others may not see it but it's actually nice to wake up not hearing the roaring of jeeps, cars and noisy people in the streets and just breathe in the fresh air and see smiles from familiar faces in town. 

So why can't I just drop everything and leave? 

Is this phobia or what?

Ever since I got tonsillitis repetitively in a span of 2 weeks, sometimes I feel like avoiding super cold drinks and sweet desserts. After having that turtle pie (it's like chocolate mousse + ice cream cake) at Kamirori, I woke up with my throat burning and it got worse after a day up to the point I couldn't swallow even my own saliva. My saliva would just pile in my mouth (gross, I knooow) so I had to spit it out. Second day when it was hurting so bad, I couldn't sleep at all and just tossed and turned and cried a little bit because of the pain in my throat. I started taking antibiotics for 3 days and it worked like magic so I stopped at the third day when the doctor recommended taking it for 5 days. I stopped at day three because I feel like I was having some allergic reactions to the drug, like my hands would get itchy and reddish all of a sudden then after a while, it will subside. After I thought I was okay already, I bravely ate some silvannas and even ate chocolates.After a day or two my tonsils were swollen again and I had to take my antibiotics again - religiously this time. I avoided everything that could irritate my throat and after 5 days I think I finally recovered - until now. 

Well, I feel perfectly fine right now. I stopped taking my meds a few days ago and started drinking the usual cold water and even ate ice cream last monday. But every after I ate/drank something cold or sweet I would become conscious of my throat and would check on my tonsils once in a while (like I did a couple of minutes ago). 

It's just that I couldn't afford to be sick again because of our internships and the fact that I have this second interview on a HUGE company that I'm really stoked about. 

Soooo, I decided that I would just drink room temperature water for the rest of the month and vow not to eat anything that I think that would stress my tonsils. 

I'm just really, really afraid of tonsillitis because when I had them last December 2010, my fever was so high that I had chills and seizure, not to mention I kept on vomiting all over the place. 

It's just sad that I'm missing a lot specially its summer and it's my favorite season because I get to eat ice cream as much as I want - but I guess I couldn't do that now. I couldn't afford to be sick OR lose my voice (like what happened a few months ago that I totally lost my voice and it was so croaky that I sounded like an evil witch) anymore - I hated it.  

I was this bored so I tried on editing photos from my previous shoot haha. Yay or Nay?
