It was my cousin's birthday last August 28, and it was quite a very long weekend for me actually, thanks to our holidays here and my schedule in school. Even though I have my Saturday classes, I still manage to go to Batangas just in time for my cousins birthday.
I hated the fact that it was raining very hard when I arrived at Jasper's dorm and waited for Veth before heading to Batangas. We arrived at around 10 pm and had late dinner before going to bed. Next morning, Jerico, Jethro and I headed to SM Batangas to pick up foods that Tita ordered and bought some liquor too. It was sunny the whole morning, that I totally forgot about the storm rampaging up north (Philippines). It was around 5pm when Jerico asked me to go with him to San Jose (his girlfriend's place) to deliver something for Jean's parents. It wasn't raining when we left our house but the weather turned up pretty bad while we're driving. We were on our way, taking up the shortcut route to San Jose when the rain and wind got really, really hard as if there's a tornado or twister somewhere near, we turned around and used the highway as the shortcut has so many trees and we can see them sway wildly and it was getting pretty dark already.

We got home safe and I swore to myself never go out while it's raining so hard. I spent the whole Monday reading Looking for Alaska which I borrowed from Bea.Then on tuesday, I had to return to Manila even though I don't have class on Wednesdays :(.
It was a fun weekend anyway because I got to spend it with my family. :D
